PST 2GB Limit
Microsoft Outlook locally stores its data such as email messages, calendar, notes, tasks, journals in a Microsoft Personal Folder (.pst). Pst files are formatted in an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) format, which limits the File size of 2GB.
If PST File exceeds the limit of 2GB File Size, you may recieve error messages such as ” Errors have been detected in the file <file_path>. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox Repair Tool “
