How to Fix Microsoft Outlook Error cause due to an MAPI?

Synchronizing web based email account to Microsoft Outlook makes our email communication effective. In an analysis, it has found that 80% of users used Outlook to sync & access their web account like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, etc.

Sometimes these email accounts baffle you by popping out errors, especially in the case of Outlook.com. This error message occurs in all most all versions of Microsoft Outlook such as Outlook 2010, 2007 and 2003 version.

Error Message: Cannot start or open Microsoft Outlook window or a set of folders cannot be opened an unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load information service msncon.dll. Be sure service is correctly configured and installed.

So, what can be the solution? Do I need to re-install Outlook Hotmail Connecter or just repairing will resolve the issue.

To remove this glitch, you have to follow some optional practices. Either you have to remove the Outlook profile which had connected to Microsoft Outlook or download and reinstall the Outlook Hotmail Connector which is the primary reason of this bug.

To correct error, follow given below steps:

  • Use control panel, remove and reinstall Outlook Connector.
  • Deleted Outlook.com profile which was connected via the Outlook connector.
  • Fixing Outlook MAPI error is a bit persuasive error to solve if you are using Outlook 2013 because re-installing the connector does let you re-synchronize emails.  “MSMAPI32.DLL” can cause also this error, so delete it from its actual default location and re-check the process. In case, if Outlook is still showing error, then replace the same DLL file.
